IEC standard calcined mica tape heat resistant  for fire-resistant wire & cable, a band-shaped electrical and termal insulation material, consist of the high quality Pamica® heat-resistant muscovite, phlogopite or alternative synthetic mica paper, bonded to an electrical grade glass cloth or PE film as the supporting reinforce, impregnated with high temperature resistant silicone resin.

 

For the excellent flame resistance characteristics, it has been widely used for power and control cables, instrumentation and signaling cables etc. Due to the very high flexibility and high tensile strength, this tape can be easily applied with high speed standard wrapping equipment.
